Thankfully, Medi-Cal helps pay for my mother’s medication and in-home care needs so I can work to provide for us. If these Republican politicians cut $880 billion from health care, she’ll lose access to the services she depends on to live – and I won’t be able to afford to quit my job to take care of her. Her health would deteriorate rapidly, and I worry my mother and I would lose our home. We have nowhere else to turn.”
